24 hours at Disney World — my travel guide

October 23, 2017

My smile says it all…Disney world is SO much fun. I think it is basically a requirement to wear Mickey Mouse ears at Disney World!

Two weeks ago I was in Orlando working a conference for my job. (I’m in sales for an Operating Room Analytics company.) After working the conference, it was time to PLAY! I hadn’t been to Disney World since I was a little girl. I was excited to see if it would be as “magical” as an adult and it sure was!

My lifelong bestie, Erin, works at the brand new Pandora – The World of Avatar in Animal Kingdom.ย This 24 hour trip was made possible because Erin got us VIP treatment!!! Erin & her Mom (who are basically like my second mom & sister) took me all around! We had fast passes to every ride we went on. She totally SPOILED me! THANK YOU, ERIN!

We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom & Epcot. I HIGHLY recommend Animal Kingdom. ๐Ÿ™‚ It was my favorite!

Night 1 // Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party @ Magic Kingdom

This party is from the end of August to November 1st. Your day passes to the park do not get you into the party so make sure you get separate tickets!

They have a parade, Hocus Pocus show, and fireworks that are all themed for Halloween. The park is decorated super cute!

Favorite rides: Thunder Mountain and Mine Train. Mine Train always has a long line.. otherwise, I would have ridden it over and over and over. ๐Ÿ™‚

Day 1 // Animal Kingdom & Epcot

Of course, you HAVE to get a pic in front of the Tree of Life!

My long time bestie who works at the brand new World of Pandora in Animal Kingdom! SO cool!

Can you believe all of the animals on the safari?!?! It feels just like you are in Africa!

Tiffins in Animal Kingdom is SO good! Definitely recommend going around back and sitting on the back porch.

At the BRAND NEW Pandora World! It is SO cool!!! You have to try the Strawberry Margarita & go on BOTH of the rides. The technology they used to create these rides was truly AMAZING.

Off to Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival!

(Yes… I need to paint my nails.. I know LOL)

Epcotโ€™s Food & Wine Festival is definitely worth a trip! Each country in Epcot has a booth set up with small portions of different foods & cocktails/wine from their country. I basically rolled out of the park after so much food but it was SO yummy.

My favorites were the nachos in Greece & the Mexican Mule in Mexico.

Cannot wait to go back and see more parks!

Thanks so much for reading.

Love, Natalie
